Stoffwechsel

Without metabolism there is no life, without weaving there is no society. The artist family deufert&plischke and the Finnish artist Johanna Tuukkanen have collaborated to create an immersive and participatory performance work with transitions from skin to skin, fabric to landscape, body to history. 

For the performance and exhibition «Stoffwechsel» they have organically woven images, texts, colours and sounds into a living textile landscape that revolves around our relationship with clothing.
